Part-Time Tax Assessor - Delaware Township, Hunterdon County

The Township of Delaware seeks an experienced individual possessing a NJ Tax Assessor certification, to serve as a part-time Assessor. Candidates must be well-versed in all aspects of municipal assessing practices. Highly effective interpersonal skills in dealings with the public, co-workers, governing body and other agencies required. BRT PowerCama systems are currently in use.  The Township consists of 2,781 line items including 626 farm assessed parcels. Salary based on qualifications and experience. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check, and the candidate must possess a valid NJ driver’s license.
