The Board of Health has requested that our township Animal Control Officer no longer trap healthy wildlife for township residents. 

Residents with Verizon land line telephone and/or high speed internet service who have service complaints should contact Verizon's Customer Relations Coordinator at 800-447-3420 or the NJ Board of Public Utilities at 1-973-648-7865.

Residents with Comcast Cable TV who have service complaints should send a letter to Township Clerk Judy Allen.  The Township Committee will address complaints with Comcast at the next cable TV franchise renewal.

Affordable Housing Information

Delaware Township has low and moderate affordable housing units for rent.  To be put on a waiting list, please fill out an application and return the notarized original to:

Water, sewer, association fees and garbage fees are all included in the rent.  Applications are available on the forms page of this website.


Delaware Township permits and subsidizes Accessory Apartments by private property owners for occupancy by moderate income tenants as required by the State of New Jersey.

Homeowners who may be interested in providing accessory apartments should read the Accessory Apartment Handbook on this site, on our forms page, for an application and for a copy of the regulations.

The Township Building will be open Mon/Wed from 8 to 4:30. on Tues/Thur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wed from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Fri from 8 to 12:30 p.m.
