The Board of Health has requested that our township Animal Control Officer no longer trap healthy wildlife for township residents. 

Residents with Verizon land line telephone and/or high speed internet service who have service complaints should contact Verizon's Customer Relations Coordinator at 800-447-3420 or the NJ Board of Public Utilities at 1-973-648-7865.

Residents with Comcast Cable TV who have service complaints should send a letter to Township Clerk Judy Allen.  The Township Committee will address complaints with Comcast at the next cable TV franchise renewal.

The Recreation Commission is sponsoring a Theater Trip to see the Tony Award winning hit "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" starring Marilu Henner at the Bucks County Playhouse on Tuesday, August 5th at 7:30 p.m. Excellent seats. Affordable Housing Information

Delaware Township has low and moderate affordable housing units for rent.  To be put on a waiting list, please fill out an application and return the notarized original to:

Water, sewer, association fees and garbage fees are all included in the rent.  Applications are available on the forms page of this website.

Delaware Township permits and subsidizes Accessory Apartments by private property owners for occupancy by moderate income tenants as required by the State of New Jersey.

Homeowners who may be interested in providing accessory apartments should read the Accessory Apartment Handbook on this site, on our forms page, for an application and for a copy of the regulations.

Effective July 1st to Labor Day the Construction Office will be open as follows:
Mondays: 8 am to 2 pm
Tuesdays: 10:30 am to 4:30 pm
Wednesdays: 8 am to 3:30 pm and 5 pm to 8:00pm (Zoning 5 pm to 7 pm)
Thursdays: Closed
Fridays: 8 am to 12:30 p.m.
The Township Building will close on Fridays at 12:30 p.m.

County Bridge D-325 located on Lower Creek Road ½ mile from Rt. 519 and 1 mile from Covered Bridge Rd. WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC on July 14th  between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. for approximately five working days.
Hunterdon County is performing this work.

The Sergeantsville Farmers' Market opened on Saturday, May 10th. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to Noon. It will be open every Saturday until October. For more information on vendors and activities click here.

Raven Rock Road Bridge Update - Additional damage was discovered when bridge members were cleaned. The repairs were approved, and the fabricator is finishing up this work. The contractor estimates the bridge returning to the site for reassembly on May 26th with a completion date of June 21st.

New Update May 29th – The truss arrived back to the job site and is currently being re-assembled.  Project completion remains scheduled for the end of July.

Copies of the book Stories from Raven Rock are on sale at the Township Bldg. for $20 cash or check payable to the Delaware Township Historical Society. 

All proceeds go toward the nomination of Raven Rock to the State and National Registers of  Historic Places.

The Township Building will be open Mon-Thur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday evenings 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Individual departments have different hours.
