Dear Residents –
Over the last few weeks, the Township Committee and the Recreation Commission have been working to establish safe guidance for Halloween 2020. After a recent announcement from the Governor’s Office permitting Trick or Treating, we are asking that residents and their families adhere to safety recommendations. The Township Committee has also established a 10:00pm curfew for Saturday, October 31, 2020.
The attached handout (please click here) has been provided by the Recreation Commission. Here, you will find suggestions for Trick or Treating families, and for those who will be distributing candy to children celebrating the evening in costume. Please use this document as a guideline as you prepare for Halloween.
Additionally, the Recreation Commission will be hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest on Saturday. For information on that event, please visit the Township Website at:
Our resident’s safety and wellness on Halloween is always our priority. This year, with additional health concerns, we are confident that our community will follow appropriate social distancing and all recommended measures to keep everyone safe and healthy.
