In an effort to protect public health and safety, the Delaware Township Municipal Building will be closed to the public starting Monday, March 16, 2020, until further notice. During this time, our dedicated municipal team will continue to provide service to residents via phone, fax or email communications. The Public will be able to drop off and pick up permits, payments etc. in either the parking lock box or in the cardboard boxes located outside both Building Department and Main door during regular business hours. All meeting except Township Committee Meetings are cancelled until further notice.
The main number for the Township is 609-397-3240. The website is www.delawaretwpnj.org. On the website, you will find directories and phone extensions for all departments.
Please note the following frequently used contacts and ways to reach them during this time:

Additionally, any payments, paperwork or application may be put in the drop box in the parking lot of the Municipal Building. During the closure, the Drop Box will be checked every 2-3 hours, during normal business hours. Packages/Documents too large for the drop box may be left in the bin at the entrance for the Construction office and Main Door during normal business hours only. We ask the public to add their phone numbers to all items they are dropping off so that the Township staff can contact them if needed.
We appreciate your cooperation during this time, and please know that these steps are being taken to keep all of our residents and employees safe while we pause to prevent the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus in our community. As the concerns for the virus lessen, we will return to normal operations within the Township. Stay tuned for regular updates.
Thank you all,
Mayor Delaware Township
