Changes to Police Department
At the August 11, 2025 meeting of the Township Committee, the Committee honored the outgoing Chief of Police Phillip "Chris" Cane with a proclamation. Mayor Vocke then swore in the new Chief of Police Robert Illes, along with newly promoted Lieutenant Elliot Gray and recent addition to the department, Patrolman Kyle McCudden.
