Deputy Clerk – Part Time or Full Time – Delaware Township, Hunterdon County
Delaware Township is seeking a part time or full time Deputy Clerk. Possession of a Registered Municipal Clerk Certification (RMC) a plus. Responsibilities including but not limited to all of the statutory duties pursuant to NJSA 40A:9-133 et.seq., prepare township committee agendas, meeting minutes, noticing, attend all meetings of the Governing Body, process OPRA requests, issue licenses and permits, the administration of elections, records management duties, process mail daily, and perform other assigned duties in accordance with state and local laws. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with elected officials, department heads, employees, volunteers, and the public. Microsoft Word experience. Delaware Township is an EOE. Salary to commensurate with experience. This is not a remote position, employee will be required to be in the office.
