Dear Fellow Residents:
In an effort to provide as much information as possible, this letter will give a few updates as we work our way through the COVID-19 impact on our community. It is our goal to keep all residents informed. Once you have read this, please pass the information along to friends, family or neighbors who may not have access to social media or the Township website.
While we adjust to our “new, temporary normal”, one of the greatest sights to see is people walking down the roads and at Dilts Park, enjoying the fresh air and making the best of this situation. It demonstrates the bond that we have as a community to see folks reaching out, offering assistance and fellowship to one another, and at the same time, maintaining safe social distance.
Dilts Park is a great place to stretch your legs and get out of the house, but please remember to keep it safe for you and your family. We will be posting signage at the basketball and tennis courts and the playground asking residents and visitors to limit use of these facilities to groups of 6 people or less. This is not intended to limit use of the park for exercise and activity, just a health recommendation for all. We want you and your families to get out there, walk the trails and enjoy the park, but we need you to stay safe and healthy. Our county now has 9 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus, so we are asking you to not gather in large groups at the park until the situation becomes more manageable.
Township Committee Meetings
Starting with our March 30th meeting, we will be temporarily moving our Township Committee meetings to a virtual platform. We are currently researching to select the best option for our needs. Whichever we choose, residents will have the option to call in or participate on-line. Once we have made the choice, we will communicate the details out on the website.
