Delaware Township Household Clean-up Day – Pre-registration Required

WHERE: Delaware Township Garage, 816 Sergeantsville Road (Route 523), Stockton, NJ -08559
WHEN: May 18, 2024 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. (must be in line by 10:15 a.m.)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • 50 permits will be issued for this Clean-Up Day beginning on April 29, 2024 between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday at the Township Police Station, Sergeantsville Road (Route 523), south of Sergeantsville. Proof of residency (e.g. driver’s license, current tax bill, etc.) must be provided at the time of application, along with a description of the vehicle that will be used and your best telephone contact information.   • Permit fees: Passenger cars, Non-SUV $10.00 Mini-vans: smaller SUVs $20.00 Small pickup trucks; larger SUVs $30.00 Larger pickup trucks; oversized vans (in length, height or width) $35.00 Trailer only, up to 12 feet in length with no side extensions plus $2.00 per additional foot up to 18 feet $40.00 Tires: $5.00 each (limit of 10)
  • Residents may obtain one permit for each Clean-Up Day. A new permit must be obtained for each Clean-Up Day.
  • This permit must be presented at Clean-Up Day before you will be allowed to unload your vehicle.
  • Vehicle unloading will be done by the resident AND Township personnel. Items deemed to be unacceptable will be left on vehicles. Residents are requested to separate from bulky waste: Construction and Demolition wood; electronics – separate dumpsters will be available and these are items to be unloaded by residents.

ITEMS ACCEPTED INCLUDE, but not limited to:

  • Furniture and other household bulky waste
  • Air conditioners, dehumidifiers and propane tanks
  • All types of metals
  • The acceptance of building materials is limited to one half of a standard pick-up truck load and may not exceed four feet in length.
  • Electronic Equipment, thanks to FREE acceptance by SAMR, Inc., Lakewood, NJ

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED INCLUDE:

  • Refrigerators
  • Hazardous waste (gasoline, chemicals, explosives, etc.) – check County website for their dates
